OK I have it narrowed down.
Everything is ok with version 3.3.12
When I upgrade to 3.3.13 the theme defaults to the original settings
I am using Softaculous to upgrade within cPanel.
I'm leaving here at 3.3.12 until I receive further input. Thank you
