Yeah, it always kind of irked me how one cannot block the memberlist without also blocking profiles.

There is now the ability to turn the permission checks off in a module in the ACP.

Direct links to groups also get blocked now.

That being said, please do NOT use this live. Even though I have tested it on a test board, there may be issues I have missed.

Code also will be improved/simplified in the coming versions.
