[3.3.x] Support Forum • Emails from board dont come from specified "contact name"

I've just completed a fresh install of phpBB 3.3.14.

If I send an email using the button in ACP -> CLIENT COMMUNICATION -> Email Settings -> "Send a test email" I correctly receive the email but it doesn't show to be from the string I placed in ACP -> CLIENT COMMUNICATION -> Email Settings -> "Contact name" but from "lrsuhriv" at "surf.dnshigh.com" where "lrshhriv" is the cPanel user that my hosting provider assigned to me.

When a new user registers he/she gets the notification email from the same address.

The name I used in "Contact name" is apparently ignored.

ACP -> CLIENT COMMUNICATION -> Email Settings -> "Use SMTP server for email" is set to "No".

Any help?
