I have started a new forum, and I’m back here on this board.
It’s ironic that this topic, which I started, has been more or less active for 10 years, without much input from me
10 years ago we blamed the decline of our forums mostly on Facebook.
But things are changing. Facebook is addictive but not as much fun as it used to be. Our timelines are filled with junk.
A growing number of people are leaving Facebook, and forums are making a comeback.
I’ve come to realize the importance of creating a community, a sense of belonging, among forum members - something that social media don’t really provide.
