Wanted! • My forum has errors

Title/Job Description: Get forum up and running again

Target audience: (e.g. professionals, hobbyists, students)Hobby. It is a old forum, been inactive for probably one year. The actress recently passed away and I am looking to reconnect to the community again.

Link to the board: Will be provided upon request. Right now it just shows a 500 server error in the original url but I tried installations in other folders.

Detailed description of the tasks: The error is: "Language file en/common.php couldn't be opened."

Knowing I have 3.0 which is unsupported, I followed the updating instructions keeping some of the folders and the config file. I then went to install in my browser for the database. I get this error:
