There is a saying... You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. Well sir, you led me to the water and I did drink it.
The issue of the Board Settings and Header Banner buttons not functioning correctly is corrected!
As you can deduce, I clicked on that 3rd icon (green) for Board Settings and oh my... the settings were pointing to Header Banner. Quick flip of the hand and presto... it now points to Board Settings. I also edited Header Banner. Both buttons now function as they should.
I could not help it, I logged out of phpBB3, deleted browser cash/history and logged back in. Yes, the buttons still work. Amazing!
I can't express enough my deepest warmest thanks. I will update all, that the issue is resolved. And, include your name prominently. Make backups and call it case closed.
This has been a real learning experience for me and I'm grateful for all the support from so many people.
