What version of phpBB are you using? phpBB 3.3.14
What is your board's URL? https://pacificwrecks.com/forum/
Who do you host your board with? Self-hosted
How did you install your board? I used the download package from prior phpBB.com, very old forum updated via Automatic Update (Advanced Update) method over the year.
Is your board a fresh install or a conversion? No, automatic upgrade from prior versions.
Do you have any MODs installed? Yes, extensions
Is registration required to reproduce this issue? No
What styles do you currently have installed? Prosilver version 3.3.0
What language(s) is your board currently using? English
Which database type/version are you using? MySQL / php 8.3
What is your level of experience? Experienced user of phpBB forum, basic on server, php
What username can be used to view this issue? Not applicable.
What password can be used to view this issue? Not applicable.
When did your problem begin? Ongoing.
Please describe your problem. My phpBB forum is partially working, but has the following problems:
1) New users can't register: Register > I agree to these terms > 500 error.
2) ACP can't access via ACP icon when logged in as administrator: Quick Links: ACP, reauthentic self > 500 error.
But, the ACP is accessible via the MCP moderation panel to administer a user.
3) Portions of ACP give 500 error when clicking the tabs for General, Forums. Error on Maitenance > Search index
4) Unable to upgrade to latest version via System > Automatic Update Package (Advanced Update) downloads files but install button when clicked does not proceed, unable to finish. Have not attempted clean install.
Steps taken: Deleted phpBB cache via SFTP
Seeking any advice or help to get these errors fixed and the forum fully working.
