Frankly with AI bots flooding content and it getting worse every day, the last thing I'd want is to get content from any social media site and store it in a carefully created forum...

I do believe we're going to see a move back to more "vintage" community platforms online.
I wish I could share your enthusiasm. Frankly, there's been a steady decline in participation on my Forum, and it's all because of the immediate gratification of a Facebook post. I don't see it changing. I'm of the opinion that if you can't beat them - and, I can't - you join them. To the extent that I can integrate my platform with Facebook - ShareOn, OneAll Social Login, etc. - I improve the prospects for participation, because the one thing I can offer that Facebook can't (at least yet), is a consolidated view of an individual's Facebook contribution. And this folks seem to like - being in "The Showcase".

This is, of course, my opinion.

Yes. That is your opinion. But what I'm looking for here, are technical solutions.
