I want to report two issues:
Test configuration:
phpBB 3.3.15:
- Clean phpBB installation
- Installed extension: Reactions extension
- PHP version 8.3.x
ACP, Extensions, Reactions settings:
Enable view Reactions page: enabled
Enable statistics in view Reactions page: enabled
Enable view post Reactions page: enabled
Enable total Reaction type count in posts: enabled
Enable Reaction type count in posts: enabled
Enable badge around type count: enabled
Enable post authors to react to there Posts: disabled
Reactions notifications/email settings
- Enable notifications from this extension: enabled
- Enable email notifications that was created from sending notifications from this extension: enabled
Enable post Reactions re-sync: enabled
- Other settings: default settings
Issue 1:
The Reactions email notification does not work. When an Reaction from another user is given to a user, the user who receives this reaction does not get an notification email from this event.
Board user notification settings:
Notifications settings: Reactions, Someone Reacts to your post
- Notifications: enabled
- Email: enabled
Issue 2:
When a topic is closed, an ordinary user can still give a reaction to a post in this topic. When the same topic is moved to a read-only forum, (ordinary users cannot create or change a post) then ordinary user cannot give a reaction to a post in this topic. Personally, it seems logical to me that if a topic is closed, no more reactions can be made to a post in this topic.
